"dont fight us, you owe us" -- you want the states to have money with no direction as to how to spend it, but you complain about Paulson handing money out blindly in the first TARP.
I don't want the states to get money from any President if it means they have to kowtow like GM. Money comes with strings attached. I want them to stop spending like drunken sailors so they don't have to ask for handouts. What's going on in California is nuts.

And I'm retired.

The post you quote is a perfect example of the fire-and-forget thinking I see from some of our posters.

Maybe fire-and-forget isn't the right term.
But it seems like a certain group always assumes that any action only has a single consequence (and only the most obvious consequence is identified).

Just because you are retired from a job shouldn't mean that you should retire from reality.

You state has and is receiving money from the Federal government and it has and is presently kowtowing for having received it. This has been the case for more than 60 years.

It was a powerful message to American's. I can't believe people who voted for Obama still think he is fixing America. Triple the debt, nationalize healthcare, let Iran have nuclear energy, tell the world that American is a Muslim nation, government take over banks, GM, what's next media take over. To me this is socialism and dictorship.
Obama must be holding a grudge and looking for pay back. I thought he said before the election he claimed he was Christain and now he is stating he is Muslim.
Honestly how is this all not frightening!
twisty, twisty, twistyhammer the topic? how about locking hannity, limpbag, cheney, o'reilly, rove, I'm running out of names here, into a nicely padded cell? for a long time.regular listener? good for you. you're on your way to wellness.

Default Limbaugh program tues 6/9/09

Anyone hear Rush Limbaugh's show today? Conserv or Lib...feel free to jump in, however it would be nice if you actually heard the show. If you just want to rant about how stupid and evil he is, you could start another thread.

I just heard the first hour and it was fascinating! Best thing I've heard him do in the couple of years I've been listening regularly.

He was just on fire! He's taking the gloves off and calling Obama out for destroying the economy. My fav part was when he put up a sound bite from a press conf with VP Biden's top economic advisor. This man was so full of double speak and lies it was disturbing. Rush gave brilliant commentary.

Today, I actually have a bit of hope for our country. I am starting to think that the msm is going to have to start waking up and delving into the trainwreck that Obama is creating. The truth usually wins out and crushes, no matter how tingle-y, fade usually leaving the formerly enchanted embarrassed.

Anyone else hear the first hour?

Any libs that heard the first hour want to comment on the VP economic guru?

I turned it off after 15 minutes due to so much misinformation.
