Today on his radio show, Uncle Rush Loudmouth, challenged President Obama to a debate (that would be held on his radio show!).
Not to hard to challenge someone who would have no reason to show up. Rush might as well go after Mike Tyson in a eating contest or George Foreman in a baby naming contest.
Obama's staff should tell him, when you selected by your party for their candidate for President, Mr Limbaugh, he will debate you.
Nothing a entertainer won't do.....

Reason: left out President in title
If he were to debate Rush Limbaugh, it wouldn't be on the radio show, it would be on neutral turf.
But it's not going to happen. No good reason to debate a microphone jockey.
Then why even acknowledge him in the first place by bringing up his name while giving a speech? Rush wasnt there..he had nothing to do with it yet Obama thought it was a good time to tell everyone to stop listening to Rush.
Obama should have never elevated him to the level of the Presidency to begin with
Anyone else think Rush is positioning himself for a run in 2012?
I first clued into it when he kept repeating "my first national address" in a half-joking manner during his 20 minute speech that went almost an hour and a half.
I think he's enjoying the vacuum this Republican collapse has left.
Limbaugh doesn't have the guts to debate people who are willing to do so. In fact, I would love to take him face to face, on television. But, he wants to debate Obama because he knows it will never happen. Unless it is a Limbaugh/Palin 2012 ticket... can't wait to see that drama unfold.

I will agree, that Obama should not have mentioned him mainly cause it gives Rush more spotlight (and consideration) then he deserves.

That was my point. I dont think either man is stupid. They just have drastically different views, and styles of expressing those views. But Rush knows Obama would not go along with that and that's why he sent the offer. Although it would be funny if Obama called his bluff. I think it would be interesting.
