I have a question, why does the government waste our money? I pay my taxes and do the right things, yet when my wife or I need help for school, they government says we make to much money to receive any financial aid.
Now, if I'm not mistaken, we pay our taxes, so doesn't that mean we should get financial aid?? We work hard, want to succeed, yet when we need help the government says F YOU! The government would rather give our money to people who don't want to work, or women who get knocked up just to receive government money for housing, and they get it! They can also go to school for free and get food stamps and what ever the heck they want!
I can understand helping people who want to succeed and are trying, but so many people out there just want the government aid and not doing anything for it. To me, it feels like they are stealing from us! I pay for everyone who is Section 8, who gets food stamps, who gets to go to school for free. Do I get anything in return? NO!
Sorry for the rant, but it just makes me sick thinking I pay so much in taxes to support so many people who do not want to better them says, and I get nothing in return.
The harder you work for what you want and the more you make, the more the government takes! The less you do, the more the government gives. What is wrong with this picture??!!!
I feel this way also. It's part of the 'Socialist' standard that seems to be overtaking our country each day. The govt. speaks of 'giving to all', but eventually that money is going to run out. It's completely unfair for those who work hard and have other lazy people (AKA illegals) to live off the backs on those who are trying to feed their families and for those who are trying to pay their bills and their mortgage.
I know I haven't lived for very long, but this doesn't seem to be the America that I remember. Our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they heard what happened to this country.
The goverment wastes money because for to long "we the people" have not stopped them. or held them accountable when its time for re-election. we as a whole seem to want, or feel its owed to us. look at us now. most thought they would be getting a check again, or free gas, etc. except for the military, helping with the infasturcture and such, I dont want a dime spent on anybody for any reason. It needs to be pulled back so drasticlly that it will hurt. and I dont care. social security has been ROBBED for way to many other social reasons. It must stop, end of rant
They do it because they want to buy votes;pure and simple. Some people voted by how much they can get from the system and many are dependent on government aid.Its the politcs of money but basically just greed just as wall street is accused of.
I'm always thinking of ways on how to change this. Maybe get millions of Americans to stand together and say enough is enough!
We have a girl that lives above us in our apartment, who has a 2 year old son. She gets money from the government and food stamps. She had a job for like a week and got fired (a couple of months ago) and she hasn't even tried to look for a job since. She doesn't go to school, nothing! I've never seen someone so lazy before, and she's doing it on OUR dime!
What's the government teaching everyone... "Don't want to work? No worries, we got you covered. We'll just take some money from the hard working Americans who want to better their lives and give to you because you want to be lazy. You deserve it!"
I believe, if you don't want to work and have a good life, then go live on the streets, or maybe we should round up everyone who thinks they should get free money and put them in the desert or something. I just feel like we are all being robbed for our hard work.
I don't mind helping hard working families who lose there jobs and are trying to find new ones. They paid into the taxes and deserve it.
I just wish my wife and I could go to school and get some help for something we already pay for.
I don't mind my money being spend on security (police/military) and the roads and all.
That is the problem, we the people work for the government. Without us, there is no government. If we all decided to stop working, how would the government get it's money...it wouldn't.
I'm only 23, and I see it's only going to get worse. Who knows, maybe some day we'll be taxed 60%, 70%, 80% of our hard earned income.

"Why is it that [insert your group] always expect government to solve your problems,
be fiscal responsible and start saving money
so I don't have to pay for your [insert what you want for your family] with my tax money.
Hard working people like [insert my group] shouldn't have to pay for your family being irresponsible"

You volunteered to be a "Contributor" under FICA.
Didn't you know that your obligation to pay socialist taxes was based on your voluntary enrollment into national socialism (aka Social Security)?
There is no law compelling enrollment, nor punishing one for not participating.
It is 100% voluntary - voluntary servitude - legal slavery.
