Just reported that the government is talking about hiring that bastion of honesty and pillar of society ACORN to hire and help with the census. Hmmm, no one would ever, ever think that something would be fishy with the numbers that come out of that census would they?

Hey I know! Why not just set up an 800 number and let everyone call in to report they exist and then add 30% in select districts? We'll give everyone who makes under $250k a year a cell phone so they can make the call, for those over the limit, well they have to pay $100k for the phone since they're rich after all...

please remember that when you fill out the census, the only thing required by law is that you fill out how many people are living at your residence.

do not fill out any more information or questions.

I'm assuming areas like the southside of Chicago will suddenly see an explosion in population to the tune of 100% plus.

Let's see...if you were the Census, who would you talk to about about finding canvassers to get into those kinds of neighborhoods where undercounts are always cropping up? You know, like urban and rural low- and moderate-income communities...

You're right...but you can see what's going to happen from a mile away, can't you? The pendulum will swing the other way as far as undercounts and overcounts go.

has anyone received the new census questions?
it is several pages long and you can be fined if you do not respond and answer, just wait for what is coming

Would it make a difference if the censustaker arrived wearing a tinfoil hat? Would that establish enough of a bond to get you to cooperate?

I agree, EVERYONE should be counted, from the poor to the rich. The count however, needs to be done by honest means. ACORN unfortunately does not know the meaning of "honest".
