Rising costs of needless regulation will
increasingly make it tougher for the poor.

People before particulates.

People depend on particulates. Wipe out the particulates, you wipe out people.

Dumb thread.

When the government tells me where I can set my thermostat, in my own house, they have gone too far.

Obama's energy Czar is not ruling it out.

Democrats - get out of my personal business. Democrats are too intrusive. Not to mention how eventual tax increases will also leave me in the cold.

Really? How do you feel about right-wing Christians inserting their religion in our government?

From 'SourceWatch':
Steven J. Milloy is a columnist for Fox News and a paid advocate for Phillip Morris, ExxonMobil and other corporations. From the 1990s until the end of 2005, he was an adjunct scholar at the libertarian think tank the Cato Institute.

Milloy runs the website Junkscience.com, which is dedicated to debunking what he alleges to be false claims regarding global warming, DDT, environmental radicalism and scare science among other topics. His other website, CSR Watch.com, is focused around attacking the corporate social responsibility movement.

He is also head of the Free Enterprise Action Fund, a mutual fund he runs with tobacco executive Thomas J. Borelli, who happens to be listed as the secretary of the Advancement of Sound Science Center, an organisation Milloy operates from his home in Potomac, Maryland.

About the same as the left-wing green-nuts inserting their "religion" into our government - I detest both.

There are a couple of ways to receive your copy of this wonderful book. You can get it by sending in just 75 labels from selected Philip Morris products, OR receive it as our gift to you when you invest in the Free Enterprise Action Fund, the fundraising arm of Milloy and Borelli's lobbying platform.

That's a great post. To many slow witted people around here will swallow any garbage without ever once questioning the source. As long as they agree with the other person's bias no further thinking is actually done.

Environmentalists have succeeded in getting a Clean Energy Corps in HR 1388 Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act.

The bill has been passed by the House and is now going to the Senate.

It's a bill well worth reading. GovTrack: H.R. 1388: Text of Legislation, Placed on Calendar Senate
