Hannity, Gingrich spread falsehoods to bolster Gingrich's claim that Dems are moving U.S. toward "dictatorship"

Sean Hannity and Newt Gingrich spewed falsehoods concerning Democratic economic proposals and policies to bolster Gingrich's claim that Democrats are moving the country "towards a political dictatorship."

What else is new...

Newt Gingrich is a disgraced has-been who desperately wants back into the spotlight. The GOP right now is so pitiful that he may just be able to pull it off. So, they have Palin, Plumber, Jindal, Limbaugh, and now Gingrich. A ship of fools.

I wish it wasn't true. No less than the NY Times, Daily Kos and USA today says it is.

NY Times 3/21/2009 "Administration Seeks Increase in Oversight of Executive Pay" by Stephen Labathon

Daily Kos 3/25/2009 5:52:26

USA Today "Dodd's AIG Problem" by Jill Lawrence

Two different things.
You can't spin facts.

?!

Are you serious?!

Just read the Media Matters article.

The usual "terror in the chickenyard" Fox routines could be construed as "editorializing" - Im sure their lawyers put it that way - but here, Gingrich and Hannity LIE.

What are the facts please? I did not know an editorial was a fact.

This is what's wrong with America. WE've been dumbed down so much we can't even handle basic definitions or English.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck it probably is a duck. Quack, quack--socialism and communism. Take the blinders off.

The MediaMatters article, if you'll look at it, cites facts and then the Fox transcript.

No, Fox is telling you it's a duck because it's in their interest to do so. They have to LIE to do so! Take your own blinders off and read the article! Jeez.
