Should we have simply taken someone's word that the weapons no longer existed? You can insinuate all you like about Bush, but the fact remains that those Democrats who voted to authorize the war in Iraq did so because they understood the threat these weapons posed for our troops, our citizens and Afghanistan's citizens.

How many times do guys recycle your old discredited debunked strories like this BS? Is there like a cutoff or quota? Or do you just go on until the ink falls off the paper?

Obama must slowly unwind Iraq, just as he is slowly unwinding the toxic banks. To do otherwise would be disastrous.

Did Bush 'slowly' enter Iraq - or was it 'shock and awe'? Saddam had the country under control, albeit with an iron fist, which was needed to keep the warring factions at bay. Bush unleashed the Pandora's box of competition, but after 1 million dead, most Iraqis agree on one thing - that the US should just get the hell out!

Bush was a total disaster. Obama is not the best we could have, but certainly a huge improvement over Bush. The problem is, is tries to please too everyone, someone like Kucinich or Gravel would do what we need to do.
