SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea accused the United States of spying on the site of an impending rocket launch and threatened Wednesday to shoot down any U.S. planes that intrude into its airspace.
North Korea says it will send a communications satellite into orbit on a multistage rocket between April 4 and 8. The United States, South Korea and Japan suspect the reclusive country is using the launch to test long-range missile technology, and they warn Pyongyang would face sanctions under a U.N. Security Council resolution banning it from ballistic activity.
Pyongyang's state radio accused U.S. RC-135 surveillance aircraft of spying on the launch site on its northeastern coast, according to South Korea's Unification Ministry, which is in charge of monitoring the North.

Just have to play devil's advocate on this one. So, the question is, what would the United States do if they spotted Korean spyplanes flying in US airspace? Would they or would they not shoot them down? I am just asking because there seems to be such a double standard when it comes to world politics. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, if you know what I mean.
Oh, I know, they might be testing a ballistic missle. Well guess what, the US has thousands and thousands of them. I'd say all in all, we are the ones to be afraid of. And yes, I know N. Korea has a bad rep and a stupid, demented junk talking leader. But according to a large number of users on this site, those are the same characteristics that describe our commander and chief. And the US has definately developed a bad rep as far as most of the world is concerned over the last 8 years.
It's definately something to think about. I mean sure, everyone knows the USA is powerful. And they do what we say for fear of reprisal. But all in all, we are no different than most of these other countries we are trying to hold back. We just got a fifty or sixty year drop on them, so now we think we have cornered the market and should control all new construction. The US is trying to control the world, and the world is starting to get annoyed with our imperialistic approach to politics. It's only a matter of time before the next war begins because let's face it, our leaders still want war. It's obvious. So we have all witnessed the beginning of the never ending war. It started with Afghanistan and Iraq. Lord knows where it will end. Buckle up Americans, we are in for a bumpy ride.
Let Japan or S.Korea deal with it. After all it is in their back yard not ours.
