Since I don't live in the United States, I don't really know if my perception will be accurate. Okay, so if I were an American, I probably would not look down on Mexico. However, I wouldn't be to fond of the government either. Do you look down upon Mexico?

I'm not very happy with their government. They have done a little to help the country develop but they haven't done nearly enough to maintain order. I know the Mexican government has been looking the other way because the cartels are another source of income for their economy. I don't look down on the actual country but I'm very angry with their government and the cartels. I think this is the greatest country in the world but I look down on our government for some of the same reasons. They've allowed drugs and illegal immigrants to cross our border for years. Our federal government has thrown too much money into solutions that don't work like the massive fence that was paid for by tax payers. It's hard to believe that not one of them knew how the Mongols invaded China. Our government has proven they are incompetent and I doubt they will ever find an actual solution to the problem. I love both countries but I really hate the people in charge.

I don't look down on the people but I don't think very highly of their government. I can't blame Mexican people coming to the US to escape the bad conditions down there.

I do not look down upon them no. I do however think that something needs to be done about the constant migration of its people to the US. I also think that the government needs to do something to better the lives of all the residents of Mexico.

I don't look down upon them, but believe they are taking the "easy way out" in terms of their government.

As a Californian, I think that the Mexican culture is diverse and beautiful. I just wish that the people of Mexico would unite en masse to combat the corruption that is rampant and fight to build upon the country's resources (of which there are many)

Mexico has the ability to be a much more powerful nation but the Mexican people need to truly believe that and stay in their country to fight for it.

Our laws and regulations as well as our citizens allow that to happen.
That is another topic completely though and I don't think it's pertinent to this poll.
