The death threats are coming from the left, since ASU does not plan to confer the customary honorary degree.

Yep. That's a well-worn tactic by the Left.

Now why isn't the media jumping all over this? We can be absolutely sure it would be front page news if republicans were doing this - all part of the "crazed right-wing" theme the media is focused on right now.

So true a nut yelling something at a Palin rally turns into a national circus, but you won't hear too much about this in the lame stream media.

Well, it was reported in the media, as evidenced by the article cited by the OP. Also, I heard it on CNN tonight.

Considering the level of hatred toward President Obama and those in the RW who encourage it, I
doubt it will be the last death threat that we hear about. It's a sad commentary on the state of this
country that there are some so utterly consumed with their anger or racism that this would happen, and those encouraging such blind animosity would not admit that their actions could and have influenced people with mental disorders to act out violently. However, "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." Whatever hatred people feel or express toward President Obama will cause negative experiences in their own lives, sooner or later.

Yes, there are those on the RIGHT that refuse to believe we have a Black POTUS and on top of that is very popular. He does unfortunately get his share of death threats from the WackJobs out there, sad indeed.

It seemed for a few years that racists and bigots understood that their behavior and beliefs are morally reprehensible, and not condoned by civilized
society. And then along came Rush....
