Nothing seems to work for the GOP! Now the nation laughs every time "teabaggers" are mentioned

Different word!

I think a lot of people now use the term with little knowledge of the sexual double entendre.

Anderson Copper probably has a lot of experiance with teabagging.

Funny, I was thinking that it was offensive but keep it because it's funny, and the way you set up the question and answer in the poll reflects the same idea:

"Should the words "teabagging" and "teabagger" be used to describe the TEA partie

Yes, it is offensive because the word already has an established meaning."

Use whatever term you like. I will not imitate Jesse Jackson and his like by demanding you change your vocabulary to suit him. Spout your misinterpretation too. Teabaggers is inaccurate but it relates to real patriots, not those who gave lip service to liberty but those who defended it against the other type. The proper term should be tea-dumpers. But since the whole reason to send in tea bags was to symbolize the Boston Tea Party, teabaggers is fine by me. It means those who fight an oppressive government for the people's liberty. It's liberals who try to paint such as a bad word. they are trying to insult us by calling us patriots. I like that. I'd rather be a "name-called" patriot than the alternative, a "name-calling" traitor.

Tea partiers, perhaps? Referencing the historical Boston Tea Party, I assume.

I was aware that "teabagger" had a sexual connotation...and my understanding was that it was a negative one. Yet I neither know, nor do I desire to know, just what that is.

And do you think the Civil rights (Pro-black, anti-white) advocates even KNOW the actual definition of the N word or do they just hear what they want to hear?
