Ever hear the saying: "Can't see the trees for the forest"? Armchair knowledge from your extremely limited perspective! That's essentially the equivalent of an ant in your back yard = you are the ant. A little research, my friend, would greatly improve your credibility.

it's just good to see the eco terrorists infecting the democrats the way the religious right infected the republicans.

And the leftists think that if they toss enough money in the back yard the ant will go away.

Global warming is a scam, the Democrat leadership knows it, the Republican leadership knows it. They just know they can BS their ignorant kool-aid drinking sheep into believing anything. Years form now after we've made Al Gore and his friends very rich we will see that it had absolutely no effect on the earth's temperature. Just like the war on poverty, drugs and everything else the gubmint wastes other people’s money on.

Thankfully your position is discounted for what it is: foolishness. There's no time to wait for you. The nation can't continue to be held back Moderator cut: No insults to another poster.

Yes, but do you ever thought about humans accelerating the process of warming and making it warmer than the natural warming trend?

You're funny, Australia has been in a drought for 3 years now. I have cousins living there.

By the same argument one can argue that urine and feces in our drinking water are not pollution because our bodies produce them. Something becomes a pollutant when it is present in a place and a concentration sufficient to harm people. Whether it is natural or artificial has nothing to do with it.

Yep, there is no time to wait. They have to start taking our money before people wake up and realize the earth is not getting warmer. Of course you will proceed and unfortunately, you'll drag the rest of the thinking public with you on another of your feel good missions.

Keep drinking your kool-aid, I guess we will continue to pick up your tab.

Uh that's not the first time Australia has been in drought.

Australia has periods of drought and wet due to La Nina and El Nino and has as long as humans have been here.

The problem with the climate change wackos is they believe there is a set point of time in earths history when everything was "normal". However the earth has cycles and constantly is changing. Warm periods, cold periods, wet, dry, etc.

The really nice thing about the climate change legislation is the republicans can't really block anything meaningful. The EPA has full authority under the Clean Air Act to regulate CO2 and install a Cap & Trade system. If the Democrats don't get the bill they want out of the Congress, the president can implement this administratively.

It doesn't matter how much junk-science the Republican bring up.

Option A = Democratic Bill
Option B = EPA administrative action

Many of our posters made a claim that cap and trade would cost $3,000+ per person.

Apparently that 'fun fact' from the GOP is false.
Off by almost $3000, lol.

PolitiFact | GOP full of hot air about Obama's "light switch tax"

If the Republicans had simply misstated the results of the MIT study, the Truth-O-Meter would have been content giving this one a False. But for them to keep repeating the claim after the author of the study told them it was wrong means we have to set the meter ablaze.
