President Obama this morning moved his weekly address from focusing as it has for the past two weeks on interconnectedness and to take aim at the details of the domestic economy. Today he touted his administration's commitment to "restoring a sense of responsibility and accountability to our federal budget."
Belt-tightening, he said, will be emphasized at every level moving forward, and he named several new key personnel to his administration who will be tasked with overseeing the difficult task of making decisions on what stays and what goes as we move ahead, and with creating for Americans a government that is "efficient, accountable and fully worthy of their trust."

Thats not exactly true, he is going to spend us out of the recession that was going to recover anyways. Of course this will cause another one but hey, dont worry, Obama is the man, he knows how to buy votes from people who dont care about how todays actions have tomorrows consequences..
