A student group that bills itself as "America's right wing youth movement" focused on countering radical multiculturism, socialism and mass immigration is causing a stir on a growing number of college campuses across the country.
The conservative political group Youth for Western Civilization is currently organized on at least seven university campuses. According to its Web site, the group hopes to inspire Western youth on the "basis of pride in their American and Western heritage," counter and ultimately defeat "leftism on campus" and create a social movement in which a right-wing subculture is an alternative to what it calls a "poisonous and bigoted" campus climate.
"Youth for Western Civilization", political action free speech or racist hate group! We report, you decide!

You can wish for the deaths of millions of American soldiers on campus and keep your job as a college professor. You can attack conservative guest speakers and military recruiters on campus and still remain a part of the student body and faculty. You can burn an American flag on campus. You can vandalize ROTC and military recruiting offices. You can applaud a speech given by the president of Iran. You can actively show your support for Palestinian terrorist. But don't you dare be conservative on campus.

I support that endangered species known as free speech on college campuses so these kids are fine, even though I think they are misguided.

If some would call this organization a hate group then what about the blacks only fraternities and sororities?

Why not? They have a right to speak, and other have a right to disagree with them.

If most college professors are on the liberal side, well, that's who they are. Most aren't outspoken about it.

There are some very conservative colleges in this country where a liberal-minded individual wouldn't even be invited to speak.

Neither this organization nor the black fraternities are hate groups. Just like with hate crimes, the idea of an organization being a "hate group" only exists in the minds of those who oppose that organization.

Leftists only speak of tolerance when they want you to not criticize their actions, opinions, words, etc. You're actions, opinions, words, etc., if they are different from the leftists, are never tolerated.

In fact, leftists resort to other words like; racist, hate group, homophobe, etc. when they don't get their way and are confronted by differences of opinion.

Well good for them but I have to know, are folks going to call them... short haired hyppies? I have to laugh, the right is now yesterdays liberal hippies on campus fighting against the man who are now the establishment.

A trip down bizzaro world lane... gotta love it.
