It seems you're reading the posts yourself. Don't do that. Have someone with comprehension skills explain them to you. To wit, national debt does not mean national spending.

Uh, no. Your words: We've never had $11 trillion in debt.

You do know the difference between debt and spending? Okay, you don't. Here goes. Debt is the accumulation of deficits. Spending is just that, money allocated to the federal budget.

Stop digging.

84 posts later and we have some of the typical partisan name calling / bickering.
Those on the left claiming they are smarter than everyone else and we are not headed toward socialism.... Those on the right being marginalized as Obama haters / sore losers.

I can admit I am no college graduate, didn't even finish high school for that matter but I was raised with a strong work ethic and enough common sense that when certain doors were opened by the grace of God I can now dig ditches with a computer rather than with my back....

So you don't want to call it "socialism" - fine. Do you still not think that our government has not totally overstepped it's boundaries??? By the way, my college educated cousin who lives in a socialist country continues to reassure me that it won't / can't happen here... But if that is the case, why does it keep coming up? I suppose the leftist will say it is all being driven by right wing propoganda media outlets. But I'm not convinced that there isn't more to it than that....

Government control of the banks???

Some of the banks wanting to give the money back to get out from under the control???

Social engineering in the name of "affordable housing"???

a few years ago, some would ask, could house prices go down?

answer was always:

won't / can't happen here

Are you claiming the national debt is the same as government spending? If so, it's you who need to walk through a few textbooks. Either that, or you're just trolling. Which is it?

Does the thought of socialism not concern you at all???

It's time to put B.S. red & blue partisan issues to the side and get control of our government. "By the people, for the people"!!!!

I'm leaning toward The Constitution Party. What say the rest of you??

Will ACORN's Favorite President Socialize America?

No the left is NOT okay with socialism.. WE ARE HOWEVER.. okay with a BALANCE of Social programs ..mixed in with capitalism..

it's called BALANCE!!!

We will NEVER BE a PURELY Socialistic nation.. nor should we be nor would this "lefty" want it.
