Colin Powell's former chief of staff called on Friday for a special prosecutor to be appointed and "armed to the teeth" to investigate the authorization of torture by Bush administration officials.
Lawrence Wilkerson: Disbar The Bush Lawyers And Get A Special Prosecutor For The Rest

Can anyone doubt any longer that this was the reason Colin Powell ultimately resigned? But why didn't he come forward himself and expose these horrors after he resigned? More than anyone else, Powell would have had to be taken seriously. Come forward RIGHT NOW, Mr. Powell, and add your voice to this effort...

You've clouded the posting by talking first about Lawrence Wilkerson, a lawyers opinion, and then Powells opinion, a non-lawyer.

p.s. disbaring a lawyer is pretty difficult because you need to be able to prove that they knew they were violating the law. Makes good press even if its almost impossible to do, especially when they have taken part in LEGAL procedures.

I don't know about disbarment, but the special prosecutor is a no brainer.

I'm betting old Powell had a set of pliars and a blowtorch in his back pocket ready to go to work on those bastards.
