hehe, i was going to post this earlier on the thread by the lib who was apoplectic about fox not airing bammers' press conference, but couldn't find that thread.
People are obviously weary of his constant campaigning - overexposure - and they are just plain sick of hearing his droning, monotone, speeches.
30% drop from his last presser - almost 50% from his first. Grim, indeed.
still 28 million watching Obama, 7 million watching FOX. You do understand that is 4 times as many people watching the press conference as watching FOX, don't you?

Over 10 outlets - do the math.
Fox won the 8:00 hour. No one station had the viewers Fox did for that hour.
I think these prime time waste of time pressers have about run their course, as well as the goodwill of the networks.
Quote:
Fox did well in the time slot, attracting nearly 8 million viewers. Its rivals ABC, CBS and NBC each garnered over 6 million viewers for the presser, with NBC leading the pack with 6.68 million.

SO WHAT????? More people watched the President than your precious FOX. If he'd been on 1 station instead of 10, that one station would have blown FOX out of the water. This is such simple math. It really boggles the mind that you don't get it. Not to mention the people who got the highlights on line or on the news later.
You pointing out that it was on 10 stations only further indicates that the 28 million viewers were spread thin over several stations, not just ABC, NBC, and CBS. More networks = fewer viewers per network. 28 mil is still 4 times as many as 7 mil. Spread over 3 stations, or 10, or 20, it is still 4 times as many people as watched FOX. YOU do the math!
But you see, that is not how they determine who wins the hour. Fox had the most viewers for that time-slot in direct competition with the other channels.
Simple. Fox wins the hour.
But the most interesting thing is the percentage of viewers has dropped like a stone. He can't even get half of his bots to watch him.
Almost 50% decline from his first presser.
Wasn't this supposed to be some kind of milestone?
People are sick and tired of seeing his mug and listening to him droning on and on and on.

It is an arbitrary milestone. Why care any more what is going on at 100 days than at 105? You don't know why the numbers dropped. You don't know what people are sick of. FOX "won" the hour because every other station had the same programming on. Since that is the only little victory you get, then I guess you can savor it, even though it is totally meaningless.
