Seriously, I have been listening to Rush for the last 3 months and I still do not understand what his plan for America really is, I would not call Rush a Conservative because is nothing more than a Republican partisan puppet but with all his criticism of Obama, he probably has a much better plan for all of us, if anybody would care to highlight his superior plan for this country, I would love to understand it!

Cut spending, don't put any liquidity into the banks, hoard gold in Fort Knox. Oh wait, that was Herbert Hoover's plan, and it worked so well that time.

What is the Conservative plan for America?

Apparently to find out who's lying....

FOX Lie to Me 2.4/7 2.1/7 7.88
CW Top Model 1.8/6 2.1/7 4.00
ABC Obama 1.6/5 1.4/5 6.12
CBS Obama 1.5/5 0.9/3 6.01
NBC Obama 1.6/5 1.1/4 6.68
UNI Obama 1.3/4 1.3/4 3.224

From the Wednesday nite hootie toast, the Fox not news feed had the largest single viewer ship of the time slot.

Would be funny if they were running a 'Bamameter to judge truth, lies or just reading the teleprompter.

Today, he actually mentioned "prosperity" during the Bush years. How can anybody be so out of touch with reality? I dislike Liberalism as much as I dislike extreme Republican ideas but the idea that all you have to do is get government out of our lives and everything will fall into place is BS. I work for one of the largest financial companies and some of the practices that I see everyday are not only unethical but borderline illegal. I still believe that an economy should be free from governmental control but there has got to be some type of oversight. I think most honest Conservatives should be ashamed of Bush for giving the Conservative movement a bad name and totally ruining their reputation as "fiscally responsible". I am glad I do not suppor either party.

Sit back and watch the moderates and independents decide that Obama was a little more radical than they originally thought. Candidate Obama and President Obama are two different people. Conservative spending and a desire for checks and balances will propel people back to the center-right more than Democrats expect in 2010. Not because they don't like Obama, but because single-party control is not a core component of the independent-voting electorate.

That's not an answer to the OP's question.

Were you complaining about "single-party control" under Bush?

And are you seriously going to argue that spending under the Republican administration was "conservative"??? And what "checks and balances"?

Just more FOX talking points. . . .

Yes, that is the conservative plan for America until the 2010 elections. Once checks and balances are back in place, conservatives will come together with a unified plan for the future. I've never defended Bush as a true conservative. The Republican Congress was just following his lead just as the Democratic party is doing now under President ObamaPelosiReid.
