..yeah... not really afraid of a bunch of paranoid gun nuts in Idaho. Good for them though, I think it's a good idea.

Lol, clowns like this are what makes being a gun owner such a stigma to many. They are pretty pathetic, and mostly all talk. groups like ELF scare me more than these guys. The latter actually goes out and blows things up. They also run 'training camps', such as they are to get their operatives ready for the task. They have target lists, a strategy (such as it is) and a clear objective backed up by rabid zealotry. THAT is a threat. When groups like the one being discussed here, actually start to develop the same structure as these wacko environmental groups, it would not take much promting for me to look to my own guns. We already have to with these animal rights and environmental nuts. One of these types of groups, not long ago, tranked a friend of mines breeding bulls, on summer range on BLM land, and castrated them. . They have been caught trying to blow up what we call 'Martian Towers' here as well. High tension power transport lines. They have sabotaged Fish and Game bird and fish release programs, using poison and explosives. Lol, they cut open a bunch of bird cages, and the birds (Chukar) all got mashed on the nearby highway.. Another friend of mine had 12 steers killed on open range by these clowns. Funny, I thought these cretins didn't believe in firearms and violence. They shot the critters with an SKS, and were caught as well. They were with some 'environmental protection group' out of the Bay Area. Splinter group of some kind. They were lucky it was the Feds that caught them and not my buddy. When these 'militias' start causing problems for us like these people, I'll get bent. For the most part I'm thinking I could count on them for help. I've seen WAY more damage done by these enviro wackos than by 'militia groups'.

Sounds like the group is really just anti-murder. After all, what happened at Ruby Ridge was government-sponsored murder.

That Nazi guy...crazy, but I'd use another source than the SPLC...

Thanks for posting. I just found out there is militia here in MS. I'm going to see what it takes to join.

If they were any kind of a serious militia, they would stay under the government radar. All above ground militias are totally infiltrated, and have been since Oklahoma City. If these guys are talking about cooperating with the authorities, they are most likely a government militia front group to scare the sheep.

being in a militia is what our founding fathers wanted, and the USA could not have happened in the revolutionary war without them.

also, being in the militia is perfectly legal, and is supposed to be there to keep the goverment in check, along with our 2nd Amendment.

I had a feeling we would start hearing from these militia types again once Obama took office. They were awfully quiet when Bush was in office.
