After they were done eating I thought it was very nice that Vice President Biden took time to put on a show for the crowd outside the restaurant!

That is great! We always knew Biden was an alcoholic.
No wonder his mind is shot!

Obama and Biden share burgers

Right out of the Clinton playbook, pretend to run around and be "normal" folks, the very same ones your screwing..

I like the Michael Jackson move (from the real video on the news story), stand on the side of the car and wave to your fans.. haha..

We here in the DC area certainly appreciated it. Every time Obama goes out and gets something to eat, restaurant business picks up. Every time he plays a game of basketball at a local school, people stop being terrified of swine flu and send the kids back to school. And business picks up in the local neighborhood.

I'm kind of surprised that the rest of the country knows or cares about these little excursions, but we here in DC definitely appreciate them. Other presidents viewed the white house as an island, you never saw them at all. Bush was always a resident of Crawford on a temporary assignment, never a resident of DC. It's nice to have a POTUS who acts like a resident of DC.

Who freaking cares??? Everytime the fool steps outside of the White House he wastes taxpayer dollars. Do you really think he paid for them burgers out of his own pocket? Who paid for the Secret Service details and all the expenses they rack up? Maybe him and Biden could just go sit in the closet and get to know each other better.

normie actually had a valid point.

Democrats will ignore all economic indicators that things are bad because the president goes out and buys a burger.

p.s. yes, Obama most likely paid for the burgers out of his own pocket.

That's nice to know. With all it costs a President to venture out into the community I'm sure its hard to stay in touch with the people or have a feel for their views. I remember George Herbert Walker Bush's sojourn into a supermarket. His eye caught the laser scanner used to scan the prices. He said "What's that?". I liked that man (still do), and I voted for him. But as the economy was steadily and surely tanking I found it impossible to support someone that thoroughly out of touch with the everyday lives of the American people. Its nice to see Mr. Obama makes good use of the time and resources of the Presidency, and to learn that indeed it has a positive effect.

The secret service make the same salary whether they guard him at the whitehouse or while he's out and about.

Maybe you're worried who paid for the burgers the secret service ate? According to the local news it all went on Obama's personal credit card. (We get a play-by-play account of these things here, and the local reporters love to report in detail about who's paying, it gives them a chance to stretch it into a 10-minute story. Hey, it's either this or go on Panda pregnancy watch over at the zoo.).
