What was the final outcome of the Valerie Plame investigation? I think Scooter Libby was indicted and then his jail sentence was reduced or commuted to that effect? Was Darth (Cheney) Vader ever linked to the whole thing of outing Plame as a CIA Operative? Was it indeed a payback move towards her husband Joeseph Wilson? I guess I just need to get caught up cause I always thought it was a rather intriguing story...

Well, Bush never made good on his promise to fire anyone involved but I guess that came as no great surprise, he told us he'd go after those responsible for 9/11 too
Turns out the Op cover for VP was expired. No one was outed. After the dust settled, Plame, Wilson, kids and sunglasses were going to move to Sante Fe, NM but they weren't accepted there so they stayed home in the cesspool known as Washington, DC.
Fitzderald never brought charges against anyone for "outing" Plame. He knew when he took the case that Richard Armatige, a high ranking official in the State Dept., was the first to expose here name.
It was never confirmed the she was a "covert" agent. If that had been substantiated. Armatige would have been charged.
"Well, Bush never made good on his promise to fire anyone involved", was not what he said.

After originally saying anyone involved in leaking the name of the covert CIA operative would be fired, Bush told reporters: "If somebody committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration."
Thank you for the link... Very interesting read, long but nonetheless interesting. It gives me a lower opinion of Cheney than I originally had though don't know how it could get any lower. Cheney may soon face justice and that would be sweet. You reap what you sow... Maybe his daughter can visit him in Prison. When he get's out of prison FAUX NEWS will offer him a job working side by side with Rove as political hacks.
Thank you for the MSNBC link... Looks like Bush's inner circle was involved to some degree one way or another, truly slime balls.
