The Gay Activists have said that they are not interested in indoctrination of children, that schools don't force Gay indoctrination.
Those opposed to the Gay extremists warned of this agenda being in the works and now it is blatant, and forced.
Parents cannot opt out of the force feeding of Gay perversion.
Even going so far to insinuate that Same sex Gays can have children like normal straight couples.
OMG - you are getting your knickers in a knot over a ONCE A YEAR 45 MINUTE lesson for kindergarteners about TEASING?
Sexual orientation isn't addressed until the 5th grade and I repeat, ONCE A YEAR for 45 minutes. If you think kids aren't aware at this age of "gay", think again.
Gee, why would we want to teach our children to be tolerant, kind and not bully each other.

you have no proof of that. there are plenty of people who dislike others and keep to themselves. it's perfectly fine to hate. you don't legislate minds or thought.
What do people who think children shouldn't know that some men love men and some women love women tell their children when they see a gay couple? How tough is it to tell a little kid that? As far as kids are concerned, love's a good thing. Should be as far as anyone is concerned. I don't get the problem. You no more have to explain gay sex to a child that age than you have to explain straight sex, if that's what people worry about.
Loving someone of the same sex is not unwholesome.
Sex with the same sex is the warped part. It is vile and not something a 5 yr. old needs to ponder.

You honestly want proof that hatred doesn't lead to violence. I'm not trying to legislate minds or thought, however, what children learn growing up will impact how they behave as adults. A kindler and gentler world is something we all should aspire to have.
Look at the radical islamic teenagers blowing themselves up in suicide bombings....They could have used a more balanced approach to education - i'm sure they were taught to respect others lol.
You mentioned legislating thought in a different post. That should not happen. People can hate all they want in their heads and, yes, in their speech as well in general society. I'm an ardent supporter of the First Amendment.
There is, however, a difference between adults (or even children) in general society and children while they are attending a school, at least while they are on school grounds. Schools already have policies against bullying, even when that bullying is not physical in nature.
