Whether its the "3 Californias" decision or the "4 Californias" Something needs to be done and I think both would almost equally benefit.

Maybe they're going to allow the State of Jefferson to come into being.

Why not just divide California into two parts? Move all the liberals and Hollywooder types west of the San Andreas, and leave everyone else east of the fault.

Then wait.

If you're suggesting that the area west of the fault is going to drift off into the sea, you have a poor understanding of geology.

First off the article said "could" divide not "may" divide. But I quibble.

It's not the first time people have talked about this. Even in good times it's always something people like to discuss because CA is the most diverse state in the country. NorCal and SoCal are different worlds, and in between those two regions are scores of other areas which are completey unique. I'm a CA native and it always cracks me up to hear people, who have never been to the state or only visited one locatation, make generalities about it.

BUT, it won't break apart even if it is fun to think about. And honestly I don't think anyone would like it that way.

OMG what an idea, can we find a way to get all the liberals to stand on the fault line.
If Fidel can get them to walk in line maybe he can ask them to stand on the fault line and hold hands to it wont seperate..... oh yea!! Great idea!

Of course its the liberals ideas that bankrupted California. Guess who is next?

The entire United States.

Look at the reasons why California has failed and you will see dirty liberal fingerprints all over it.

It is what liberals do best, destroy things.

Get a grip. Do you not think you're being just a tiny bit irrational?

I see nothing "irrational" about the comments.

Just the antithesis of Dukester, and few liberals think he's "irrational".

Heck, it would be so much fun to name them....let's see....Canafornia (north), Earthquakania (next one south), BrushFiregayania, and the southern most one would be ...North Mexico.,

Well, okay, if you want to be an extremist, I guess that's your right. When someone blames all of the bad things in the world on either liberals or conservatives, I think of them as irrational.
