So recently I saw some of the more conservative leaning religious nutjobs who give this great nation I live in a bad name in and around Pioneer square, saying how we're all going to hell and we're baby killers and Obama is the devil, blah blah blah.

So I decided to have some fun with them:

"Quitting by 5?!? Sounds Union-like to me!"

"So if you're compassionate, why has your party done more than any other to spread war and destruction?"

"If Republicanism is so awesome, then why haven't Seattleites adopted it ... oh wait, Seattle is awesome to live in, has the highest rate of education in the nation, has beautiful and friendly people once you get to know them, and are respectful on the whole. ... why are you ruining it?"

You must be young not to realize that both Republican and Democrat presidents have "spread war and destruction." Also, just because these people are religious it does not mean they are "conservative." For example, a majority of Democrats are religious, and the same for Republicans. Some religious people are liberal, while others are conservative, regardless of political affiliation.

I see, so instead of trying to dispute the facts, you instead deflect the argument to make it about republicans?

Deflection and obfuscation are two of the most overused tools by the far left.

Very true. I was going to add intolerance and entitlement, but I'm sure you already knew that.

haha. do a little history homework on who is historically the party of war. if seattle has such great education, you must be a transplant, because history goes back further than 8 years.

Yeah, I bet those people are shaking in their boots.

Now, what is truly hilarious is when I wear one of my political shirts - like my orange Gitmo, my 2000 Inaugural with a HUGE pic of "W", or my Operation Chaos. The looks I get are hilarious.

I've had one person say something to me - she left rather tongued-tied and cowed.
