His spending is on par with the executives (AIG and such) for being paid too much. He should be more responsible in his decisions as a Head of State in an economy that is having problems. He should lead by example of what he preaches. That is where the fault lies in my opinion, not in the fact that he can afford to do these things. Everyone can spend their money the way they want, but his position is quite different than most of the ordinary Americans.

Every President has Secret Service protection whether he's going out to eat or sitting at home.

Obama is Overwhelmingly Popular

Yes, it's fairly obvious the Obama sycophants are overwhelmed. Kinda sad in its reality but I suppose their cross to bear.

Well first you get popular and than people get sick of you because over exposure is not good for any one and it has proven to be true for every single person who was on tv...too much...just wait and you will see.....

I wasnt talking about the cost of a burger. Its the cost to protect him such as secret service & local police. He has caused quite a disturbance especially with all the looky loos. Hes just a politician. Cmon now....

I love how the wingers flip out every time Obama steps out of the White House. The Secret Service are paid no matter what they are doing whether it's standing in the Oval office or going out for a burger with the President. I wonder how many SS agents it took to protect Dumbya's Forrest Gump's butt everytime he went to Crawford to clear brush!

And it's Obama fault that he's popular? I don't understand what you're suggesting.

Jimmy Carter was popular, but after 4 years it took decades for him to be respected somewhat again.
