You believed that at the time. That's fine. But now, there are millions of people who feel the same about obama. Why were you right to want bush to fail, but those who want obama to fail are wrong?
I don't want him to succeed in all his specific plans, as there are many I don't agree with. That said, I do want him to succeed in turning the country around in some way.

He can fail and the country can ultimately succeed. This is what I hope and pray for.
If he succeeds, the risk of "modernizing" the constitution and altering the very nature of commerce in this country is too great for me.
His goal is to impose socialism in this country. He believes that that will make the country prosperous again.
I believe that, if he succeeds in instilling socialism, it will not make the country prosperous, but rather will permanently reduce it to third-world status, with misery and poverty to match.
So, I want him to fail in his attempts to instill socialism in this country... which is his only goal.
