I don't think these guys saw the same speech I did.Obama did mention terrorists, terrorism,he just didn't call it that word.He also mentioned that Muslims around the world have to play their role by rooting out terrorists within their borders. These conservatives only hear what they want to hear.Fox News falsely asserted Obama claimed "there is no more terrorism" | Media Matters for America

I saw this on the Daily Show tonight.

Hannity crops clip to claim Obama "decided to give 9-11 sympathizers a voice" in Cairo speech | Media Matters for America

Hannity (and crew) edited a clip of Obama mid-sentence to change its meaning.
I'm surprised there aren't 7 threads here endorsing it already.

So dangerous....THAT'S the sort of thing that needs a law against it.

Right-wing people on here have been so well trained to fear MediaMatters. It's remarkable, and sad and scary. Grown adults.

No it doesn't. You can believe it or not believe it. Thats were liberals always go wrong. They don't care about free speech when its something that bothers them, but the rest of the time they defend it. Can't have it both ways.

Our founding fathers did not intend "freedom of speech" to mean "freedom of liberally approved speech" or "freedom of polite speech" or "freedom of honest speech". Notice they did not use ANY qualifying words in the phrase freedom of speech. They did that for a reason, to keep whiny people like liberals away from regulation of speech.

So am I to take it that pointing out lies and distortions is not protected speech?

I've yet to see a thread calling for the pulling of Faux News off the air, so what liberal disapproval of free speech are we referring to.

PS - Do you people get paid for how many times you can use Founding Fathers?
