And that's news ?

They have ties in all industries. Didn't a few of those senators get special mortgages from the Countrwide CEO ? I guess it must have been the banking committee key senators.

We have the best government money can buy.

We sure do, problem is that most of us can't afford to buy any part of government.

I don't even know why this is news....

Once the citizens finally clue in and start voting some of these crooks out, we just might have a resemblance of "representative" government.
