I'm not certain I would celebrate so quickly. This is just a temporary setback until the next crisis happens (or is created). As Obama said, overhaul of the healthcare system will take time -- it's not going to happen overnight.

yeah lets pop a bottle of champagne for the fact that 47million Americans are without health care and that within 6 year we will spend 20% of GDP on health care.....

The plan will initially only insure 1/3 of the uninsured. That alone is said to be $1 Trillion. That means, by the time all of the uninsured are covered, we will have added $3 trillion to the deficit for just this alone. Soon thereafter, we will wake up in a single payer system with the government being the insurer, and we will wonder what happened to healthcare.

In the 94 only 37 % wanted Hillarys health care only 41% want it now and that will drop as the "real" plan for it comes out 1st how to pay for it the 1 trillion + ......

i dont know why Obama wants to do this now....this will be much easier to do two years from now after he gets done fixing the mess Bush left.

As with usual liberal programs, baby steps, first add in care for the elderly, then the poor, then the children, etc, pretty soon, you have everyone in one system..
