When you put all these mandates on the insurance companies, you destroy the insurance market.....that's why its where it's at today, look at what HIPAA did.....keep trying to control it and make companies take losses and it will just keep going higher and higher....there's no free market any more! I was just explaining this on another thread....a family of four here in AZ on a PPO, about $600/month.....go to New York where they have to accept you with no pre-ex's, depending on the county around $4,500/month.
