House narrowly passes major energy-climate bill - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090626/ap_on_go_co/us_climate_bill - broken link)

It narrowly passed! It's about time!

It is "the most important energy and environmental legislation in the history of our country," said Rep. Ed Markey of Massachusetts. "It sets a new course for our country, one that steers us away from foreign oil and towards a path of clean American energy."

I suggest you go read the bill and make up your own mind.

Ed Markey is right on one thing though, it will set a new course for our country.

I know, I can't wait to pay more for everything and watch unemployment go higher as the little manufacturing we have left in the U.S. , does the the big skeedaddle to friendlier offshore climates.
A victory for the ages!
