So, everyone from NASA to Shell Oil is in on some kind of vast, global conspiracy to defraud humanity? Right.
Almost every organization researching climate change has the data to prove the planets warming trend, but piggy-backs off the IPCC on the carbon/warming models. The IPCC is one of the worst run 'science' organizations I'd have ever thought imaginable. The models 'predict' the temperature 100 years into the future with +/-500% error margins...so basically the planet could warm 3 degrees...or 15, or -15. Right, save me vote of carbon taxing until they get that shored up, which was my original point.
You actually prove his point. You can't come up with facts which disprove global climate change. You're not interested in educating yourself in on the issues. You didn't even read the link I provided. It's all about hating the liberals. Whatever.
Please, there are reams of literature on both sides of the issue. It is you who refuses to seek out information which may challenge your world view. Look up global warming skeptics on Google and you will get thousands of hits. Many from reliable sources.
Again the fact that we are talking about climate change instead of global warming is instructive. The whole global warming thing didn't work out so they changed rhetoric. Now whenever the climate changes, as it is wont to do, the hucksters raise their fingers in the air and say, I told you so!
What's the "agenda," bigskydude? To destroy the world economy? Really? Climatologists from France, Spain, China, Australia--all in cahoots to raise the electricity rates of Americans?

Reading the actual research from these countries might make you sorry you even posted in favor of climate change science ..
I tell you what treason is, being a representative of your district and voting yes on bill that had 300 page amendment added a few hours before the vote and you have no clue what's in the bill.
Climate Change: Something this 'ole Earth has experienced many times before. And will experience many times in the future.
It is normal. It is cyclical.
No matter what your take on our current arguement, this statement is 100% true, and I think we should be directing our resources towards making it through the storm, not controlling it. Recent ice cores (2006) found evidence that at one point the planet dropped 22 degrees in 3 years, previously speeds in delta average temperature were not thought possible. That would be a far worse problem than increasing carbon and temperatures which require us to wear less clothes and farm a larger % of the planet ( I know the implications are bad, just exaggerating).
