Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval

Would know that 60% approve of what Obama is doing by just reading this forum....but i guess thats because the Republicans that post here are the far right nutjobs...i see ever few normal Republicans on this forum or any other...

The trend is what matters, not the day-to-day percentage.

Obama is enjoying pretty steady numbers, both approval- and disapproval-wise, but if you look at the trends, you'll see subtle decreases in approval and subtle increases in disapproval. I'd be worried about the trend, not the day-to-day.

Yes it has gone down a little.. I wonder how much of it has had to do with civil libertarians, gays, and open government advocates who supported him realizing....(like I told them) that he never sticks his neck out, and he has no fight in his belly?


He's a triangulator, preserve the status quo, kind of guy first and foremost. He gets away with it because the alternative to him is just so awfully bad for the Country.

Obama persoanal popualrity is steady but his policies approval are going down. Not good after juts 6 months really.Carter was one of the most popular modern presidents at this point his term.

You know, normal republicans, the folks with a wife and kids and a job. The ones whose taxes are being used to pay for the oh so wonderful things the current administration is giving us.
