I don't know. I guess left-moderate would be the most accurate. Of course anything not to the right of Limbaugh is a radical leftist in some people's eyes, so maybe I'm that, too.
Hard to say. I grew up in a very conservative, talk radio listening household, and remained so all through high school and college. In fact, my earliest posts here are quite conservative. But last summer, I started questioning my beliefs. Long story short, I abandoned enough of my conservative ideals to put myself ever so slightly to the left of center.
This means that I'm...
Pro life
Against excessive deficit spending (I like Obama, but I'm concerned about the deficits)
For free enterprise, just not the laissez faire variety.
But I'm also...
Against torture
Against pre-emptive war (not anti-military)
Against the death penalty in most cases
For social programs for the poor.
For Universal Health Care (as long as we can afford it and keeps people's options open)
For universal, public education (though I understand it's not perfect)
Indifferent on gay marriage. (As a christian, I don't support homosexuality, but don't see why they shouldn't have rights.)
I might change, I might not, but that's where I am right now.
Location: Upstate NY for now. Hanover, New Hampshire come the fall.

I'm a centrist. I fall on the right for some issues(homeschooling is ok with me, not in favor of strong environmental legislation, pro-military) and left on the others(abortion, healthcare, minority issues, etc). I'm also indifferent on homosexuality.
Centrist, almost dead center, but leaning slightly towards libertarian. I guess my views balance each other out and is also why I'm so disappointed with both major parties.
I'm a radical centrist that hates extremists.
Since the election it has rebounded and is now above where it left off nearly a year ago. I lost some momentum, but it could have been a lot worse, especially if McCain had won and allowed the auto companies to melt down.
Maybe you need to change your investment mix.
Nah, this rebound is the calm before the storm. Every spring there is a historic rebound. With the Feds printing money faster than they can get the paper to print it on, inflation will raise it's head shortly and reverse all our gains.
You simply can't keep spending money you don't have and not have an equal and solid counter effect.
Any time we print money (or any other country) faster than we can aquire it, will result in bankruptcy! One only has to look at Calif to see what we can expect nationally with nobody to bail us out.
Having your/our bills paid off will be our only saving grace, which most can't do and will be fed to the wolves.
