"campaigning," lol, it's called communicating. He laid out his agenda. What else do you want him to do? No one knows yet how much the plan will cost because it's not agreed upon yet. Also, these costs to us are going to be changing up and down forever, there's never going to be any one set price. Why not pick a number and let that be your own guide, and move on? (But first be sure to thank all the admins that went before, who passed the buck and let the costs to you add up and up and up.)

Schmaltzy maybe but it's a 4th of July speech.
communicating is where more then one person is talking and exchanging opinions, ideas. I do believe the liberal media just called hussein obama out on that one. His idea of communicating was dictating what the media could ask.
[Obama] said the same spirit will be needed to deal with problems "we cannot defer any longer," citing several areas:
_Revamping the education system, demand more from teachers, parents and students and "build schools that prepare every child in America to outcompete any worker in the world."
_Overhauling the health care system "that is imposing crushing costs on families, businesses, large and small, and state and federal budgets."
_Making clean energy "the profitable kind of energy so that we can end our dependence on foreign oil and reclaim America's future."
These are some of the challenges that our generation has been called to meet. And yet, there are those who would have us try what has already failed; who would defend the status quo. They argue that our health care system is fine the way it is and that a clean energy economy can wait. They say we are trying to do too much, that we are moving too quickly, and that we all ought to just take a deep breath and scale back our goals.

We are not a people who fear the future. We are a people who make it.
I like that he has a clear agenda and is pursuing it.
Hopefully once our economy recovers the finances will balance out a little better. That's the only real concern anyone should have - revamping health care, energy, transportation, education.... great stuff.
