The following from an investment newsletter...

Indeed, just as the authorities were touting the "end of the financial crisis," all heck has broken loose again ...

Default Obama's Great Lie of 2009

Lol. The title of the newsletter pitch you quote is "THE Great Lie of 2009." No mention of Obama anywhere. But you titled your thread, "OBAMA's Great Lie of 2009".

Ironic.....

Meanwhile everyone knows about the derivatives market, and has known.

"Democrats agreed to support the bill after Republicans agreed to strengthen provisions of the anti-redlining Community Reinvestment Act and address certain privacy concerns; the conference committee then finished its work by the beginning of November. On November 4th, the final bill resolving the differences was passed by the Senate 90-8and by the House 362-57.This legislation (whose voting margins, if repeated, would easily have overcome any Presidential veto) was signed into law by Democratic President Bill Clinton on November 12, 1999"

what does that have to do with the misleading title of this thread, other than to underscore what a, um, falsehood it is?
