I don't know, what is the american dream? Do you mean a house in the 'burbs, 2.5 kids, a golden retriever, an SUV, a 2-story house way bigger than the family needs? I'm not about that american dream.

Noit really;its just that many expect more than they produce and thuis depended on credit rather than earnings top support thier lifestyle. We have never had it so good. Look at all the excess other than the basics epople expect from computers to interent ;cellphone ;electronic games;$100+ tennis shpoes .the number that eat out frequently. We have it made as long as you produce something others want.

No...the American dream that your children will have a better life than you did and a better America to enjoy it in.
