Forget the Volkswagon, he might have been President if only he had knocked on the door of the nearest house and asked them to call the police, instead of walking back to the party cottage where there was no telephone.

Default RIP Mary Jo Kopechne, 40 years today that Ted Kennedy committed manslaughter

Oh yeah, before the Obamatrons begin, Laura Bush killed a guy too. But then again, she wasn't a politician now, was she?

Mary Jo Kopechne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

RIP Mary Jo

Politically speaking, it's time to let it go. Ted Kennedy is still treated like the Messiah by the Boston media, and they won't ever change. It's clear his life is winding down, and this is probably his last term in office.

Today, there really aren't any more Kennedys on the horizon in MA for the media to anoint the new savior, so that era is coming to an end. And furthermore, the Caroline Kennedy fiasco, where she tried to use her family's influence to sidestep the election process in NY to snatch a Senate seat also failed. Move on.

People place RIP on tombstones throughout the world and it is a perpetual saying.

The manner in which he is dying serves as justice for Mary Jo.

As for moving on, I suppose a statue of limitations is appropriate for manslaughter of say, 5-10 years?

So we have a fat, brain dead alcoholic murderer writing our health care policy for us...yeah, thats going to work.
Yeah that is about it! Pretty damn sad I'd say.

The reals shame is that Kennedy is an alcoholic murdering fat slob whose pathetic life was recently saved by the finest medical care in the world, yet as long as he is still breathing, he is working to destroy the same system that saved him. Its too bad that he didn't have to go to a government run VA system with his brain tumor, we probably wouldn't have to see his sorry face again if that were the case.

I think it reinforces the fact there is a God, as He isn't going to allow Ted to be dispatched from this planet so mercifully.
