Ok, so they're going away for a week in order to get some R&R and family time...and they're paying for it themselves. It's no secret that the Obamas are wealthy, as most other recent First Families have been.

Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. He took out loans to put himself through college, and then law school, and had to rely on hard work and to get where he is today.
George W was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and achieved his position in life entirely because of nepotism and his family name.
Get over it already. If the Obamas can afford $35-50k/week for a vacation, which evidently, they can, why is that any of your concern?
Politico...I don't have an issue with the Obamas spending $35k-50k/week..as far as Im concerned they could spend a million/week...I could care less..good luck to them...my point was.. if it was Bush the liberal media would have crucified him especially during a recession...Its about the media... not the Obamas vacationing...the hypocrisy....
