It's amazing how ignorant people are being manipulated by the right-wing media, as that media continues to fearmonger and twist the facts.
No, Bush was tapping phones.
Obama wants emails.

I don't know which is worse, people getting all their information from forwarded emails or from bloggers.

The White House simple asked people to forward to them those forwarded emails or urls of sites that contain misinformation about the health care legislation. That's it.

Considering how much the loony right loves forwarding emails and siting crazy bloggers, this shouldn't be a problem.

The title of this thread "Obama wants to monitor your emails" is so misleading I have to question if you know what the word "monitor" means.

Are you always wrong on every issue?

You know damn well Bush did not want to monitor anything you did unless you were a suspicious character.

Stop lying to yourself, Obama wants to know everything you are doing and you know it.

Did Bush have people reporting back to him your every move like Obama wants? NO he did not.

The only fear mongering that I see on this forum is from the right. Big time. Almost like a last gasp.

You are so right.

Liberals are full of hate, just look at them, so hateful and mean.

Fear mongering is what the left wing nuts are all about.

Planting fear in you to force your thoughts is what they want.

Total control is what obama is all about.

More of that inexplicable right wing projecting of their behavior onto the left.

It's so odd.

I think it would be a good idea if everyone in America that does not like the health plan would send him an e-mail. Sounds like he is asking for them to send one. Do you think he would listen if everybody sent one?

DC Central Command has no business in spending taxpayer money to set up a fishing expedition like this.

The Obama/Bush team is breathtakingly ignorant on matters of freedom.

That is because you have been brainwashed by the left. Big time. Definitely a last gasp
