god help us.
By simply switching wingnut to conservative you remove 95% of the bile from this post. Without damaging the content. But would posting still be as satisfying? Or would it be like leaving the gin out of a gin and tonic. Alone the tonic is nasty, the gin is the point.
Beware of doG!

Battling Brazil: The Fight to Bring a Kidnapped Boy Home - ABC News

I know Hillary has been involved and trying to do something and so have some Senators, but if Bill Clinton can fly around half the world why can't they go and pick up this kidnapped son of an American?

Is this because the father isn't working for Al Gore's company, and one of the journalists is the sister of a famous tv host and journalist, and the father is just an avergage American?

Dont' get me wrong, i got tears in my eyes just watching them come back, but on the other hand they did something wrong and took the risk them self...this little boy was taken from the father without the father doing anything wrong!

How much did this trip cost and who is getting to pay for this...?

I'm happy they are reunited with their family but something seems wrong and I think it has to do with money....

Even Obama is now coming on tv to respond and get his credit in this whole thing!
Not even answering questions...Obama is probable scared to get a real question why them be freed while other average Americans aren't helped!

Hundreds of children each year are taken by one of their parents or a relative. (in the mentioned case it was the mother). That case is in the hands of the Brazilian courts. There are many cases in our courts, of children being held here while the other parent in another country tries to get them back after being awarded them.

There is one locally, that I've been covering, that the mother took her two girls from Israel, and returned here, leaving her husband and their other children. The husband wants the children back. Should Shimon Peres come calling, demanding them? It's in the hands of our courts, just like the mentioned case, is in the hands of their courts.

No matter what Obama does, it's not enough for some people.

All conservatives are not wingnuts, or at least they didn't used to be.

As for gin and tonic... I often order a tonic and lime when dining out. Its soda pop for big boys.

So Bentlebee,

No response to what I and several other people asked? Where is George W? Why didn't he try to make deals to free these people or try to help the kidnapped son in Brazil?

Daniel Pearl was kidnapped during Bush's Presidency by unknown terrorists and killed 9 days later. What should Clinton have done?
