Americans have been pounded with Obama's healthcare "infomercials", and now the DNC and this administration are using their hefty political warchest to buy public/cable commercials aimed at selling the administration idea of heathcare to the residents where Obama is to hold townhall meetings this week.

Although Gibbs is "shaking in his boots" about the open townhall meetings that Obama will hold, there probably is little to fear since the questions will most likely be scripted, and participants predetermined just as previous question/answer series have been.

If the administration were "pure as the wind-driven snow" why all the campaigning on the issue with MILLIONS being spent to sell it to the public? Why is the pharmaceutical industry willing to pay $150 million to help sell the plan to the American public? Why are the labor unions so up in arms, since after all, they will be exempted from the healthcare bill anyway?

It's time to address how this bill will be funded. Explain the cuts to Medicare and Medicade, the bureaucracy that will be created, the bureaucratic decision making process about individuals' health care, and the loss of private/personal information to the internet.

It's time to have the opposition views carried by the MSM, not just the one-sided propaganda from the administration. Maybe the Fairness Doctrine is useful after all.

Well I highly doubt Obama is going to get the same questions and anger that the Senators are . They will screen out anyone that doe not agree with the plan so they are wasting their money with these commercials.

Everyone knows the POTUS gets a lot of attention from the media, but I've never witnessed such a flurry of acitivity covering the healthcare issue. With two "infomercials" under his belt, now Obama is charging into the fray loaded with DNC and Pharma monies at his disposal. Couple those commercials with his sizeable campaign warchest, the clout of ACORN and the labor unions, and it seems that America will be "sold" a bill of goods or be "forced" to accept the unknowns of the yet-to-be-finished bill.

It's incredible that Obama is out and about selling an unfinished product. Could it be that the public outcry against the healthcare proposals are beginning to unnerve the empty suit?

How dare Americans be inquisitive about the fundamentals of the healthcare proposals beign bantered about, sticky little things like how it will be funded, who will be taxed, who will decide your healthcare fate,...details,...details,....details. Americans don't have the RIGHT to question this administration,...it's UNAMERICAN according to Pelosi and others.

And it was "un-American" to NOT question the previous admin, according to Pelosi, Babs, Kerry, Kennedy, etc.

I'd LOVE a full-on audit of Pelosi and her husbands "investments". From the vineyards full of illegals and the golf course "partnership" that didn't meet environmental standards...would LOVE IT. And if you have to ask, and you think Democrats are so "above" Republicans...shame on you. You DIDN'T do your DUE diligence before voting.

So, let's investigate the speaker of the house.

This isn't new info, just shoved under the rug b/c she isn't a republican issue.

Pelosi is a piece of trash using her position to feather her own nest in California. Vineyards, hotels, and other ventures have been rife with questionably illegal workers, and Pelosi has done her best to insure that the illegals are properly rewarded in her home state. She pushes renewable energy at every turn, but fails to declare a rather large stake in Mr. Pickens energy company. And the left criticized Cheney for his prior associations.

What really bothers me most is polls that show Americans are against the healthcare bill as written, but our leaders and congresspersons just keep pushing the bills along against the current of opposition. It doesn't seem to bother this president or the congress that they are pushing ideas that most Americans detest. Just goes to prove that our representatives and national leaders do what they wish regardless of public opinion. It's apparent that those in power know what's best for the "little people". Those representatives know how to spend our tax dollars better than the taxpayers,...after all the taxpayers have no power until at least the next election.

People with opposing ideas are being ignored by this administration and their own representatives, or they are vilified. Obama is still campaigning, using his community organizations to quell opposition to his agenda, and using millions of dollars to sell the healthcare bill to the public through his infomercials and tv spots. The whole truth may come out some day, but by then it will probably to too late.

Too bad that the right-wing media pundits/liars have sent unthinking/susceptible people over the edge.

Oh well.

Keep on dreamin' little uninformed one. Stick your collective heads in the sand and repeat,....."Obama will save us,...Obama will save us,...."

Talk about uninformed, unthinking, lazy, feeders on the dole at the government trough.....
