WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama's domestic policy proposals will face the reality of skyrocketing deficits on Tuesday when officials release two government reports projecting huge budget shortfalls over the next decade.

The White House budget office and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), a non-partisan arm of Congress, release updated economic forecasts and deficit estimates on Tuesday, providing further fiscal fodder to opponents of Obama's nearly $1 trillion healthcare overhaul plan.

I really wish that more Americans would visit some "socialistic" Countries and get a understanding of what Socialism really is instead of listening to outright lies and fears that have absolutely no basis in fact.

I have just come back from Europe and have seen how this evil socialism works for its citizens. It is nothing like what we are told here and is a mixture of socialism and capitalism. Have we not gone past the 50's with our "witch hunts". Then it was the Red's under our beds now it is the Socialist devil.
Will we never learn or even attempt to go outside of our shores to learn for ourselves real facts and not be played like puppets by our press, corporations and politicians?

He'll give a "speech" (filled with fluff as always) to say we need to watch the spending, but healthcare will help us overall! He doesnt care about long term fiscal doom. He cares about making the name for himself in history books not only as "First black president!" but "President to create universal healthcare!" He'll happily let the future presidents get out of the fiscal mess that he may not have created, but that he certainly contributed to!
