Obama White House Versus CIA - ABC News

Quote:
A "profanity-laced screaming match" at the White House involving CIA Director Leon Panetta, and the expected release today of another damning internal investigation, has administration officials worrying about the direction of its newly-appoint intelligence team, current and former senior intelligence officials tell ABC News.com.
Yep. Obama and Holder are just dying to change the subject, aren't they?

If they go forward with appeasing their radical, left-wing kook base, they will succeed in undermining the very men and women who keep this country safe. The morale will be so low at the CIA, they won't even bother. Why should they when all the dems/libs ever do is demonize them?

In X number of years, when America is struck by terrorists, again, right here in the Homeland, government investigators probing the ability of terrorists to penetrate our intelligence-gathering network will undoubtedly harken back to 2009 when CIA operatives were investigated and prosecuted (?) for their actions. The independent committee will find that a culture of caution at the CIA, as a result of these invesitgations and prosecutions, watered-down our ability to take the necessary action to prevent an attack on our country.

I can envision this without a single reservation. It's only a matter of time.

Yeah! Everybody knows the right way to motivate the CIA is to out one if their employees to the press when her husband has the audacity to bring up data that contradicts the official picture.

Just like a liberal to water-down the substance until there is none. Why don't you debate the merits of keeping this country safe, and doing whatever is necessary to do so, instead of attempting to deduce from it a technicality that only the small-brains on the left can understand?

CIA is not, has not, and never will be law-enforcement.

Oh noes! Not a culture of caution! Imagine if we'd been cautious and made sure, we'd never have secured those gigantic WMD stockpiles.

We absolutely need more mock executions and waterboarding. It's bound to work eventually, right?

Pure idiocy. There has already been a culture of caution at the CIA, as well as the FBI. In fact, so cautious they didn't even communicate regularly with each other for fear of leaking classified information to those that shouldn't have it. This was one of the fundamental breakdowns leading to 9/11. So yes, a culture of caution is exactly what we don't need.

Mock executions and waterboarding are irrelevant. The bigger picture dictates that if they are scared to act, they simply won't. The fact that you or anyone else support that is mind-boggling.
