This is the latest poll from Rasmussen about this subject. I think that you will find that, of course, Republicans voted in the highest numbers compared to Democrats, but the most interesting thing in the poll is that 79% of the Independents in the survey agreed with that thread title. This is something that Democrats need to look at and think about.

Sure lets cite a biased source with republican ties. The problem with most polls is that they measure very short term opinion. It's fairly obvious that Obama's spending over the past months would add to do the deficit but these polls don't take into account long term benefits. You have to spend money to make money.

And 95% of them probably don't even understand how deficits are calculated. Thats Rasmussen for you.

What's the point? Every time I see a poll posted I laugh as the automated responses come filing in from both sides.

Hey Einstein, care to share how you think it's done?

Sure, if someone cites a biased source and tries to present it as neutral damn right I'll make a mention of it.

So if the claim is true, why isn't it a valid point to bring up?

Ken

Don't ask Dem. to think...they rather like to bash the previous government and it always is some one else who is to blame.
