I know I would, but the Obama administration isn't communist. Somebody's been listening to Glenn Beck too much.

...and where is this Communism of which you speak? I don't think you actually read or comprehended any of what I wrote. You would not have responded in such a manner if you had.

These are pretty conventional Democratic policies that have been around for generations. Just look at FDR, JFK, LBJ, Clinton... Sometimes drastic action is required to fix critical problems. If you pay close attention to them rather than propagand fed to you, they are far from set on some Communist take over - or even Socialist takeover.

They are simply pulling the levers of government to a) stabilize a collapsing economy and b)provide for the least amongst us. GM has posted positive sales for the first time in ages and the administraiton has said all along that it would pull out as soon as things were stable. Protecting the last industrial base of a nation is smart economic and military strategy, not socialism.

You really can't see that much difference between what they are doing economically and what McCain proposed to do and what Bush actually did. So, relax. Republicans proposed to freeze all federal spending and they got laughed out of the room by the American people.

Sorry, but your ideology isn't what we need at the moment and your fear-mongering is getting pretty out of control.

It's not my problem or anyone elses if you fail to realize what is going on. I guess you're just not that smart if you approve of these radicals in high positions in the WH. It is a danger to our country to have people in these positions who praise Chavez and the like. Our men and women have died by the thousands to protect us from people and a government such as those and you are going to defend it?

It might not be just yet, but they are 2 steps closer to it than we have ever been.

It is all around, in plain sight, but unrecognized by millions.

From the Communist manifesto:
"In this sense, the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property."
COMMUNISM - the ownership of property, or means of production, distribution and supply, by the whole of a classless society, with wealth shared on the principle of 'to each according to his need', each yielding fully 'according to his ability'.
- - - Webster's Dictionary.

SOCIALISM - A political and economic theory advocating collective ownership of the means of production and control of distribution. It is based upon the belief that all, while contributing to the good of the community, are equally entitled to the care and protection which the community can provide.
--- Webster's dictionary
In contrast to "collective ownership" is:
PRIVATE PROPERTY - "As protected from being taken for public uses, is such property as belongs absolutely to an individual, and of which he has the exclusive right of disposition. Property of a specific, fixed and tangible nature, capable of being in possession and transmitted to another, such as houses, lands, and chattels."
- - - Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p.1217
According to the fifth amendment, private property shall not be taken for public use without JUST COMPENSATION.

Since the government routinely takes our property and does not pay just compensation, that is prima facie evidence that no one owns private property.

The reason : voluntary enrollment into Social Security (aka National socialism).

Restating - private property ownership was voluntarily surrendered by the American people, starting in 1935.

YouTube - Glenn Beck Can't Spell
Did you hear Beck apologize for leaving out the C and what the c was for. It seems that the C would have been for czar and the White House had told him not to use that word. Actually the illiterate part came from the left blogs.

Do you people know what illiterate means? I don't think so since it has to be used to say uncomplimentary things about people when you know no way to prove what he says is not true.

Care to cite these circumstances of property acquisition without just compensation?

I'm sure it's happened (the genocide, rape, and pillage of Native Americans come to mind), but on the balance people are protected under law.

I think your argument is a bogeyman.

Care to provide a link to where the WH told Beck what to say and why Beck chose to accept it?

15 minutes to messiah time! I can't wait to have ideas again!
