Chris Matthews Slams GOP Governor Rick Perry For Starting New Secessionist Group: "Ignorance Of These People Is Unbelievable" (VIDEO)

Thanks, Governor Perry! Another nail in the Republican coffin.

This party just spins further and further out of control. Pitiful.

Texas is not the only state to consider this - I believe around 20 states have it on their plates

Texas has allowed the takeover of their state by illegals, so what makes you think thers anyone left who will protest peacefully to stop this insanety ?

We are just like the fat spoiled lazy romans before their destruction . We could vote them all out and start over . Start at local town halls and tea partys .

Arizona has an Illegal Immigration problem as well - although we are taking very aggressive enforcement action - yet, secession is being discussed in Arizona as well

How many presidents besides "Obama the Unifier" have faced the threat of seceding states?

I sincerely wish that folks carefully read the organic documents that founded these united States of America before jumping to conclusions.

Sound bite:
[] Declaration of Independence = job #1 - secure rights, job #2 - govern those who consent.

[] Articles of Confederation = delegation of powers to the United States, in Congress assembled, to assist in the securing of each State, of the United States of America.

[] U.S. Constitution = reorganization of the United States, in Congress assembled, into the three branches - Executive, Judicial, and Legislative, with the Legislature having the superior power. (Restatement of powers already delegated under the Articles was amended with a bill of limitations on the United States, in Congress assembled.)

HOWEVER, since 1935, the U.S.A. has been a socialist nation, by "voluntary" participation, via enrollment into FICA / Social Security. All enumerated socialists surrendered their birthright of sovereignty, freedom and independence, in exchange for 'entitlements' (stolen from everyone else, via taxation).

Secession is not necessary and will provide no solution unless the State's people cease volunteering to be socialists, and underwriters of the impossible to pay national debt.

If the people DO leave national socialism, the repercussions are not pleasant.
[] The Federal Reserve Note (no par value) will cease to have trade value (lacking the human collateral), and will no longer be eligible under the Special Drawing Rights of the World Bank and IMF.
[] The amount of gold held in Fort Knox amounts to less than $10 per capita... far too little to be useful as a medium of exchange.

In short, we can't go back, we can't keep doing the same thing, and we're doomed either way.

D'OH!

I'm from Texas and I grew up in Texas. I left.

Let Texas leave the Union. As soon as they do, their taxes will go through the roof.

We can build a wall to keep them out~

These right-wing nutjobs are like a bunch of toddlers. Screaming, stamping their feet, threatening to leave. The whole world watches in fascination. And they've been doing it before Obama was even President! Man, it's fascinating to watch how deep racism runs.

Then we could have all the Colorado river water instead of sharing it with L.A. We could be the mellon/militia center of North America.
