They LOST an election, and they're very depressed and angry! You might even say they're experiencing COGNITIVE DISSONANCE about the legitimacy of their political points of view. They *know* they're correct, but the nation as a whole doesn't want to take the path they set out.

Their leader today is a rich fat guy who sits alone in a small room in Florida and talks to a microphone. Their nominal party leader is a smarmy black guy.

They had Yukon Barbie as their VP candidate in the last election. She embarrassed herself several times during nationally televised interviews (one in front of a guy bleeding out a turkey before butchering).

A minority woman was just accepted into the Supreme Court of the United States. They don't like it when minorities receive benefits from our political system.

Their party has become merely a regional party (southeastern United States). They are probably going to lose more seats in Congress in the next national election.

They don't know the meanings of words like 'socialist' and 'fascism'.

They ignore the lies about the economy, Iraq and Afghanistan, and Hurricane Katrina's aftermath told to the nation for 8 years by the President and Vice President from their own party.

They have no plan for improving the nation's healthcare challenges, but they are screaming at those who are actually working on putting into place something better than today's chaos.

Absolutely correct. They are anti-democratic and anti-patriotic. They're angry that Obama won. Period. They are fighting against the democratic process. Of course, most of them are uneducated and clueless, just taking their jingoistic talking points from the FIX brigade. These are powerless people who now can feel powerful in using big words they don't understand. They're also full of racist venom. They love to say that they're against Obama's "policies"--as if they even have a clue about any of it-- but they were screaming about the evil, alien Obama way back before he became President. A bunch of know-nothing, vitriolic racists. Nothing new under the sun here.

The mere fact that liberals keep spouting off that Limbaugh is "leader" of Republicans only further solidifies how truly out of touch those on the left really are.

According to ALL the polls, it is more than just republicans - it is those all important indies (they put obama in the WH), who are also angry and waking up to what a horrible, awful mistake they made.

Funny. That's a talking point of the left. My side doesn't bring up losing. It's not about losing.

Our talking points are:

- stop debt spending
- stop printing money
- no new taxes or fees
- no to socialization, nationalization, wealth redistribution and UHC
- strong foreign policy
- stop buddying up with dictators

We cant deal with it because of Obama's debt, the admin keeps printing money, we will see a tax increase, Obama's admin is full of socialists, we have a weak foreign policy and are making friends with all the world dictators. So yeah, I can't deal with that.

Well I am an Indie. Not a whole lot of choices...McCain and Palin or Obama. I shiver when I think that there was even a remote possibility that Palin could have taken office.
