President Obama to award his first Military Medal Of Honor posthumously To Sergeant First Class Jared Monti of Massachusetts. The Medal of Honor has been awarded 3445 times in the history of the United States, the Medal of Honor has only been awarded five times since 9/11.
I didn't know anything about this brave soldier until today, after watching the video I can certainly understand why he was awarded the Medal of Honor.
