How can we ensure that those who need medical care receive it while also reducing health-care costs? The answers offered by Democrats in Washington all rest on one principle: that increased government involvement can solve the problem. I fundamentally disagree.
Me too. And most Americans intuitively know this as well.

Hmm lets see, she wonders why elderly people are concerned about death panels? Could that be because she is the one who lied about it in the first place to try and scare the living hell out of them....
But the fact remains that the Democrats' proposals would still empower unelected bureaucrats to make decisions affecting life or death health-care matters. Such government overreaching is what we've come to expect from this administration.
These are the "Death panels" she was referring to. Have you ever heard of a metaphor?
Obama talked about the need for "independent panels" that would make "determinations" on who gets what care.
Love that she has come out on the eve of his big speech.
Ms Palin speaks in such generalities, such little political homilies that there's very little substance from which to base a refutation on to begin with.
So what is suppose to be refuted? Government thought it could solve the problem of democracy in middle east by invading Iraq, and instead causes a war that left Iran with a strong ally and greater regional hegemony. So I can't argue with her point.
